- Age - 17 years old
- Requirements - Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Medical - 3rd class
- Flight Requirements - 40 Hours Minimum Helicopter Flight Time (including 20 hours flight training and 10 hours solo)
- Ground school - 20 Hours Ground school needed
- Written Exam - Multiple-choice exam, with the entire subjects already covered in your ground school
- Oral Exam and Flight Test - An oral exam with an FAA Examiner, again with all subjects covered in your ground school and then a flight test with the same examiner.
- Age - 17 years old
- Requirements - Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Medical - 3rd class
- Flight Requirements - 30 Hours Minimum Helicopter Flight Time (including 20 hours flight training and 10 hours solo)
- Ground school - 10 Hours Ground school needed
- Oral Exam and Flight Test - An oral exam with an FAA Examiner, again with all subjects covered in your ground school and then a flight test with the same examiner.

Further advanced certificates and ratings like
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified
Flight Instructor Instrument(CFII) and Multi
Engine Instructor (MEI) are also available at
Europe-American.
